This is an energy treatment similar to Reiki in that it uses universal energy and is performed with the client fully clothed. In this treatment, the QT practitioner uses breathing techniques to raise his or her level of vibration. This amplifies the power of the energy and, instead of the recipient drawing the energy from the practitioner in a leisurely flow; the energy is directed specifically to the site of any malady.
I use this treatment on sites of pain and ask for a running commentary from the receiver to indicate what they are feeling, how and where. Using this input, I am able to alter the flow if the pain moves to another part of the body.
